MotoGossip is a motorcycle listings search site. This page explains what information the site handles, why, and what say you have in it. The short version: we collect very little, we sell none of it, and most of the site works without an account at all.

What we collect

  • Your email address, if you sign in. Sign-in works by emailing you a one-time code, so the address is the whole account. We also use it for the newsletter if you subscribe, and every newsletter email carries a one-click unsubscribe link.
  • Saved listings and searches, if you use those features while signed in, so they are there when you come back.
  • A session cookie that keeps you signed in, and a locally stored theme preference (light or dark) that never leaves your browser.
  • Ordinary server logs — IP address, pages requested, timestamps — kept for security and debugging, not for profiling.

Listing data

The listings on the board are public advertisements aggregated from dealers and marketplaces, shown with a price comparison against similar bikes. Seller names and locations shown on listings come from those public sources.

Advertising

MotoGossip shows ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to show ads based on your prior visits to this site and other sites, and you can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings. How Google uses data from sites that use its services is described at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell your personal information.
  • We do not share your email with dealers, sellers, or anyone else.
  • We do not require an account to search, browse, or read anything on the site.

Deleting your data

Email [email protected] from the address on your account and we will delete the account and everything tied to it.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, the date at the top changes with it and the current version always lives at this address.
