Terms of use

Last updated August 17, 2026

By using MotoGossip you agree to these terms. They exist mostly to be honest about what the site is: a search and comparison tool over public motorcycle listings, not a party to any sale.

What the site is

MotoGossip aggregates publicly advertised motorcycle listings and shows each asking price against the median ask for comparable bikes — same make, model and year, at similar mileage, nearby. Listings belong to the sellers and dealers who posted them; prices, availability and descriptions are theirs, and can change or disappear at any time.

The price comparison is information, not advice

“Under” or “over” the median describes where an asking price sits among its comparables on our index. It is not an appraisal, a valuation, or a recommendation to buy or not buy. Condition, history, and everything else that makes a specific bike worth what it is worth are between you and the seller.

Transactions are yours

MotoGossip is not part of any deal made with a seller or dealer found through the site. We take no commission, hold no funds, and cannot mediate disputes. Do the same diligence you would do finding the listing anywhere else.

Acceptable use

  • Do not scrape, bulk-download, or republish the site’s data or index.
  • Do not use the site to send spam or misrepresent listings.
  • Do not probe, overload, or interfere with the service.

No warranty

The site is provided as-is. We work to keep listings fresh and the index honest, but we cannot guarantee accuracy, completeness, or availability, and we are not liable for decisions made on the basis of the comparison.

Market position compares an asking price against the median ask for the same make, model and year, within 3,999 miles of the odometer and 500 miles of the bike. Where the index holds too few of those, no verdict is shown. It measures what sellers want, not what bikes sold for.
